Scope of Privacy Policy

Deutsche Telekom IT & Telecommunications Slovakia s.r.o., Žriedlová 13, 040 01 Košice, Slovenská republika (hereinafter „DT ITTEL SK“) places great emphasis on the protection of your personal data. This document is intended to inform users of our policy regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal data in the event of choosing to use our application.

This Privacy Policy has been adopted for the Zvedavo application, which combines the real world of the Košice forest park with a virtual environment of 3D animal models, using GPS and a smartphone camera. The application is created for educational purposes.

What kind of information is collected?

In order for an application to work on a device, it needs access to various functions and data on the device and certain permissions need to be granted for this. Please note that if you refuse to consent to one or more permissions, you may not have access to the full range of features that our application offers. If you have granted permissions, we will only use them to the extent described below:

When using the application, it uses the following smartphone functionalities:

• location services - the application uses your location to discover new animals and info boards in your area

• smartphone orientation record - the application uses your movement activity to display movement on the map

• smartphone camera - the application uses camera to view animals in augmented reality and uses access to photo gallery to save the captured photo

• local push notifications - the application uses push notifications to display information about the discovered object in the vicinity

The use of these functionalities within the application is essential for the proper operation of the application. Without access to a functionality of smartphone, the application will not have the correct functionality. The application accesses smartphone´s functionalities over time according to user´s settings, while standard setting of access is possible only while using the application.

The application uses a map that shows animals and also uses the user's GPS position. The user can take photos with 3D animal models in the application, in which case the application has access to the smartphone camera. However, the photos are stored in the gallery of the smartphone and DT ITTEL SK does not have access to them. The application also provides the possibility of performing a quiz, but DT ITTEL SK does not store any quiz results.

DT ITTEL SK does not collect or store any personal data of the User.

DT ITTEL SK may collect non-personal data, such as the hardware features of your device or options in the application, traffic, time of use of the application, etc. This information represents statistical data, which DT ITTEL SK will then use to improve the application. DT ITTEL SK uses Google Analytics for these purposes.

DT ITTEL SK does not use this data for your identification, and it will not be provided to third parties.

Time of retention of personal data

DT ITTEL SK does not store user´s personal data.

Rights of persons concerned:

Persons concerned have the right to:

• information about the processing of your personal data;
• gain access to personal data that is stored on you;
• request correction of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
• ask for deletion of personal data when it is no longer needed or if the processing is illegal;
• to object to the processing of your personal data for marketing purposes or on the basis of your specific situation;
• request to limit the processing of your personal data in specific cases;
• get their personal data in a machine-readable format and send them to another provider ("data portability");
• ask whether decisions based on automated processing, that affect you and are based on your personal data, are to be performed by individuals rather than by computers. You also have the right to express your opinion in this case and to oppose the decision.

Children's privacy

The application is also intended for persons under 13 years of age („children“). However, DT ITTEL SK does not process any personal data of children.
